Program Description

Event Details

Cook Club is for any adult interested in home cooking and recipes. Each month there will be a new recipe in the library for you to take, make and try. You can find the recipes near the cookbook section, near the new non-fiction and online. On the third Thursday of each month, adults are welcome to the small meeting room to taste the recipe of the month and talk about recipe variations, interesting ingredients, cooking techniques and more.

July is National Corn Month, and peak local corn season! Please enjoy fresh corn on the cob while you can. This recipe is a way to enjoy corn at any time of the year!

The July recipe is Mexican Street Corn Salad. You can pick up a copy of the recipe in the library near the new nonfiction or near the cookbooks. Click the link in this listing to download a copy.

Tasting night is in the small meeting room from 5 to 5:45 pm. Registration is open and requested by July 12th. Walk ups are welcome the day of the program, space permitting and while supplies last.
